Then becoming our new Compliance Manager for Holiday Club might just be the thing for you! We are seeking someone to provide some strategic leadership/oversight in an exciting new freelance role to be ultimately responsible for compliance and safeguarding at Holiday Club. The successful candidate will have an overview of all roles and responsibilities and will ensure that roles are being carried out by the appropriate people.
Holiday Club runs for three weeks in the summer holidays, providing an action-packed club for children aged 8 to 17, offering invaluable experience for student volunteers and a well-deserved break for parents/carers. The ongoing, sustainable and successful running of Holiday Club is a high priority for Leighton Buzzard Mencap.
The simple process we will follow to recruit for this role:
1. You complete and submit our online application form, which includes uploading your most recent CV.
2. If shortlisted, you’ll be invited to an interview with current Trustees and a Holiday Club Leader.
3. If successful, two references will be collected.
4. We’ll send you an acceptance letter.
5. You must complete the mandatory DBS check.
6. Start the role!
Upon joining us, part of your induction will include reading through our most important policies and you will be given the opportunity to take part in appropriate training, such as Safeguarding, Health & Safety and First Aid.
