A small, friendly group for pre-school children with potential additional needs, Opportunity Group meets one morning a week during term-time.

This group plays a vital role in giving children and their families support at such a crucial time in their lives. We support families with children aged 0-5 who have emerging developmental delay/disabilities or additional needs. No formal diagnosis is needed, and families are able to self refer.

 

We work in partnership with children's centres, health visitors and other professionals. The type of support we can offer depends on the needs of your little one, we can provide children and families with play and learning ideas and opportunities, introduce parents to like minded families, signpost to appropriate support, and actively listen and guide you through these early years. We also have a Facebook group for our current, face-to-face members to join and expand their support network.

Whether you are worried about your child, if they have a diagnosis already, or if you’re finding things difficult, Opportunity Group is here to support you through this journey. No commitment, no pressure, come alone or with any and all of your children. Everyone is welcome and we’d love to see you!
