Sing on your sofa with Holiday Club's Aga

Calling all super fans of Holiday Club's Aga!

As part of the English National Opera Baylis Singing programme, every Friday at 11am, Aga Serugo-Lugo is bringing 'Sing on the Sofa' to you and your families at home. The workshops will explore fun singing exercises and are aimed at those aged 11-18 years old, but they can be enjoyed by all the family.

The first workshop looks at the importance of warming up our voices and our bodies when singing, with a closer look at the Overture from Mozart's opera The Marriage of Figaro.

Watch out for a much loved Holiday Club classic at 14:34 - let's hear you all sing it out loud!

The second workshop covers how we hold long notes when we are singing and what we can do to make them sound and feel healthier, taking a closer look at the Humming chorus from Puccini's opera Madame Butterfly.

The third workshop showcases the importance of breathing when we are singing, with a closer look at Summertime from Gershwin's opera Porgy and Bess.

In the fourth workshop you'll discover how rhythmic body percussion can enhance our singing, with a closer look at the Triumphal march from Verdi's opera Aida.

The fifth workshop explores high notes and low notes when singing, with a closer look at the Habanera from Bizet's opera Carmen.

Happy singing everyone!
