Barnet Mencap Short Breaks, Respite and Holidays service

'Just Holidays' is a service run by Barnet Mencap, an affiliation of the Royal Mencap Society that provides holidays for adults with learning disabilities and difficulties. All holidays are tailor-made using the support ratio most appropriate for the client.

They have a choice of fantastic supported holidays available throughout the year that offer something for everyone. Whether you'd would like to relax by the pool, explore a city, get active or visit a theme park in Florida, there is something for everyone.

Barnet Mencap also manage a Short Breaks traditional respite service in Hendon, North London called Sherrick House. Respite care provides an opportunity for family carers to have a little time just for themselves. Whether its for an appointment, to spend time with family, or to take a holiday. Sherrick House offer skilled, trained staff who will take care of your loved one. Breaks at Sherrick House can range from a few hours in the day or for longer periods of up to a few months. They can plan bookings right through until 2022.
